The Certification Process
All events are invited to join the Green Event Movement (GEM), but it takes a bit of effort to qualify for GEM Certified Status.  You must achieve a certain level of sustainability or "green-ness" in order to earn GEM designation.  Take the self-test below.   We can help you achieve your sustainability goals.

GEM Certification Cost
ZERO.   But you must "apply" for certification by submitting the checklist/application.   We work on an honor system, meaning we will accept your answers as truthful.  
​Why free?  Because our goal is to build a vibrant network of responsible events.  Once we do, funding will take care of itself.

​The list below shows the many ways to progressively green your event.  As you achieve more and more of these actions, you can move up the ladder of GEM certificate designation.  Once you complete and submit the application, we will list you on this website and send to you a high resolution logo graphic for use in your promotional material.
